While Parmesan Cheese is made using animal rennet, our Hard Veg Cheese is made using microbial rennet made from vegetarian sources from the Italian province of Bologna.
 
Parmesan and Hard Veg cheese are a family of hard grating cheeses made from cow's milk. They are generally pale yellow in color, and usually used grated on dishes like spaghetti, Caesar salad, and pizza.
 
Parmesan Cheese is traditioanlly made in the Italian provinces of Reggio Emilia, Parma and Bologna.
